Safety is always our first priority. With more than 35 years experience, we know exactly what it takes to ensure a safe trip. Grounded in our formal training program—which is the only one of its kind in New England—our drivers have the technical know-how and professionalism to handle almost any situation that could arise. Beyond that, Van Pool drivers are also deeply aware of and sensitive to our students’ varying physical, cognitive and behavioral needs. We have the tools, the training and, most importantly, the care and discretion to make every trip a safe trip.

Through operational excellence, we’re committed to providing the highest quality, most reliable service possible. Each of our vehicles is equipped with a GPS tracking device, minimizing wait time while controlling costs. We meticulously maintain our modern fleet in prime operating condition which minimizes downtime. Operating out of six local bases and keeping a significant number of vehicles and drivers in reserve, we are flexible and respond to changes quickly.

Our mantra is “Whatever It Takes.” From CEO to driver, every Van Pool employee is focused on providing best in class service. Our transportation coordinators handle every facet in moving students to and from their schools and programs, saving precious time and resources for administrators and district staff. We’ll even work directly with parents and schools, attend IEP meetings and take the lead in resolving service issues. Our documentation and reporting is accurate and on time. Whether you are a parent or district, we are constantly communicating to ensure you’re always in the loop.
